Each study breaks its subject into claim cards. A card states one claim, tiered F for a historical fact, I for an interpretation of the facts, or T for a claim argued from Latter-day Saint premises. Under the claim sit the sources: verbatim quotations with exact loci, most linked to the page image they came from. ✓ verified means a second reviewer checked the quotation against that page.
Every card also carries two more fields. The rival gives the strongest opposing reading, written so its holders would recognize it; for many visitors it will be their own. Significance states what the evidence does not prove. These studies show what changed after the apostles. Whether heaven withdrew authorization is a judgment the record alone cannot make, and no card here claims otherwise.
